LAPT Nuevo Vallarta is the second event in Season 2 of the Latin American Poker Tour. It will be a three day event held, at the Marival Resort and Suites, December 5-7, 2008.

Passport/Visa Information

Residents of Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and Peru as well as other countries require a visa to travel to Mexico. If you plan on attending, you must leave yourself enough time to process your visa prior to traveling to the event. 

Residents of the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, Australia and many European countries do not require a visa to visit Mexico as a tourist. Please check with your local embassy before traveling.

How to Enter

Qualify Online

Satellites will be available at PokerStars. Winners will be awarded an LAPT prize package that includes a main event buy-in, accommodation and money for expenses.

Qualify Live

Live Sit & Go satellites will be running the night before the Main Event from 9:30PM till 1:00AM.

Direct Buy-in Information

Players who would like to register in advance for LAPT Nuevo Vallarta (and be guaranteed a seat) should e-mail registrations@pokerstars.net to receive instructions on sending their payment by wire transfer or bank draft. Players may purchase a main event entry with or without an accommodation package, depending on availability.

The deadline for advance payment by wire transfer or bank draft is generally two weeks before the event.

Please note that players can also buy in directly on-site at the Marival Resort and Suites on December 5 starting at 9:00AM when registration opens to the general public, depending on availability.

PokerStars qualifiers will be staying at the Marival Resort and Suites. It is an all-inclusive (food and drink) resort. If you wish to find your own accommodation, there are many choices that range from international brands to standard bed-and-breakfast style options.
